Cassiopeia

Queen of Ethiopia and wife of Cepheus. Cassiopeia bragged that she was more beautiful than the Nereids, which greatly enraged Poseidon. For revenge, Poseidon sent a flood and a sea-monster to destroy the Ethiopia. He chained Cassiopeia’s daughter Andromeda to a rock, to be eaten by the sea-monster. Andromeda was rescued from her misfortune by Perseus.
