Hello,

I am new to this forum. I have a question regarding a coin of Julia Maesa. The coins I am interested in are numbered 2003 and 2007 SAECVLI FELICITAS and my question concerns which field the 'star' appears in. In the picture of #2003 the star appears in the right field but the description says that it appears in the left field. In fact on both coins the star is in the right field. Sears book lists the left field star as a rarity - whereas this listing does not - but the star is apparently in the wrong field? Can someone help me out re this?

Welcome Carlos!
Yes the picture for 2003 is wrong. However both types (RIC 271 = CC 2007 and RIC 272 = CC 2003 are common. I have the right picture for 2003 and if you are interested I will e-mail it to you. D. Sear 7761 SAECVLI FELICITAS with left star and high value is actually RIC 273 and it is Quinarius, not denarius and it is rarity.
We try o put everything in CoinsCatalog in order, but it is a lot of work ...
