test...

Try "Manage Attachments" when posting, then "Browse" and "Upload" the images... Let me know if you're still having problems, it seems to work on my end.

Thanks for trying :)

Here is a "Mule" of a Coded coin. The obverse is Maximian RIC 580 and the reverse is Diocletian RIC 263. This is what got me started collecting Coded coins of both the Max-man and Dio.

Welcome Chip!
I hope you had a great long weekend as I did :)
Our forums are new addition to CoinsCatalog but the idea is to make them a nice discussion, informational and educational public place. I hope we will succeed with the help of all.
"Coded coins" - really interesting area... May be you will be able to post article about it. If you do so we will include it in the glossary section with your name as an author. I still don't have clear answer for my self why they decide to combine the officina and the code and what is the actual meaning of using syllables other then the first one. What is your opinion?
My interest is mainly coins of Alexander (any Alexander) Thracian Kings, Odessos, Dionysopolis, Marcianopolis, Nicopolis ad Istrum, Bulgaria and anything that I like :-)
The catalog is designed to help anyone with interest and as a place for publicizing numismatic information. We are happy that we made it but there are so may things to be done ...
We hope that the people like you will contribute to make the best catalog ever :)
Once again Chip – Welcome and thank you for your time!
Vladimir

Chip,
is there any chance to send us a bigger image? 500 - 600 pixels width would be perfect
Tnx
