I have not been able to identify this coin. Please help.It is about the size of U.S.A. dime.On coin;MAXIMILIANVS.1493.POT.MAX.I.INV.CAESMAXIMILIANVS.There is no image on reverse side. The coin has a goldish color-like brass.I did find out that the image on coin is Maximilian I 1459-1519, Holy Roman emperor and German king (1493-1519).Even with that info I cannot find this coin anywhere on internet.

I was given a ring by my grandpa with the same coin attached to it. I was wondering if you might have found out anything since your last post as to where it might have come from or what it might represent, whether it is a coin from the Roman Empire during Maximilian's reign or simply a token commemorating Maximilian. I have found translations for the text inscribed around the coin and even found a portrait that is very similar to the image on the coin, but just can't seem to find any background. If anyone is familiar with this coin, any information would be appreciated.
