Anyone help identify this? It has a cross in the center on three lines (a mountain top?) with letters to the left of the cross looking like IAS and the right ILE. These repeat below it. above the bar of the cross left look like IS and to the right XO.

Very crudely struck or cast. Size is approx. 28 mm.

The back appears to have a figure of a man or woman, head and shoulders only, and can't make anything else out. Please see scan.

Anonymous follis class B attributed to Romanus III.
Obv.: Bust of Christ, facing, Wearing nimbus and holding book with Gospels.
Rev.: Legend in four sections around cross standing on three steps.
Ref.: D. Sear. Byzantine coins and their value. P. 377, 1823.
