I purchased this coin thinking it was a sestertius; however after looking for a like legend on the obverse, the only place I found it was on other medallions. A couple of other folks also have said it was too heavy for a sestertius...
the legend on the obverse is MCOMMODUSANTONINUSPIUSFELIXAUGBRIT
with Commodus facing right with laur. and garb.. Reverse has Minerva facing left holding spear with left arm while also holding out "Victory" in right hand, also has trophy to right... unable to read legend on reverse. Coin measures 36/37 mm and weighs in at 38.6 grams... also is approx 5mm thick... I can send photos to any who ask....thanks in advance..///moe

Hello!
Yeas it is too heavy for sestertius and it is probably medallion. If you post here or send an image to me at vc@coinscatalog.com will be better and it will help a lot. Please give information about the axes of the obverse and reverse.
Have a nice day!
